Eleanor Cozens

Eleanor is a pianist, singer and musical director hailing from the North East of Scotland, now working in London.

She holds ABRSM diplomas in both voice and piano, and graduated with a First Class BMus Honours Degree (Vocal Studies) from Edinburgh Napier University in 2021.

As a singer, Eleanor has performed in many operas, shows and concerts. She has sung in the Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in many of their sold out concerts, including ‘Film Music Gala’ and ‘Star Wars in Concert’. She has played principal roles for Edinburgh Studio Opera (‘Eugene Onegin’) and British Youth Music Theatre’s world premier productions (‘Trojan Woman’ and ‘Triptych’). She has produced and performed her own public recitals with the Scottish Arts Club, and has performed as a soloist with the Edinburgh Chamber Orchestra. She was most recently a vocalist on ‘The Musical Life Of…’ for BBC Wales, and is a member of the Cantus Ensemble.

As a pianist, Eleanor plays at the Savoy and Dorchester hotels, as well as late night venues such as Overtures Piano Bar, Phoenix Arts Club and the Theatre Cafe. Musical directing credits include ‘News Revue’ and Musical Youth London (‘Bugsy Malone’). She has also been the répétiteur for operas such as ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’ and ‘The Rocket’. Eleanor has been a piano and singing teacher for 10 years, has led 2 different children’s choirs. She regularly accompanies different concerts, rehearsals and gigs across London.

Eleanor has also held roles including Front of House Manager for ‘Assembly Festival’ at Edinburgh Fringe (2019) and Coventry UK City of Culture (2021), and as Supervisor for ‘Cabaret’ at the Kit Kat Club (2021-2022).
